About the project
Welcome to the official webpage of our Erasmus+ project, dedicated to advancing education in the field of optical metrology through innovative training methodologies. Our project focuses on developing user-centered learning content, integrating virtual and augmented reality into training, and establishing comprehensive assessment frameworks to ensure high-quality learning outcomes.
Objectives
Our primary objective is to build and deepen the knowledge and skills of metrologists who work with or will work with optical measuring methods. To achieve this, we are developing comprehensive e-learning content and practical workshops for six key technologies in optical metrology. These technologies include laser scanning, structured light, imaging probing systems, fiber probes, chromatic white light, and point cloud processing.
Innovative Training Approaches
We are integrating cutting-edge virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) technologies into our training programs to provide immersive, hands-on learning experiences. These technologies will allow learners to interact with realistic simulations, enhancing their understanding of complex concepts and improving their practical skills in a controlled, virtual environment.
Comprehensive Assessment and Evaluation
To ensure the effectiveness of our training programs, we are implementing rigorous assessment and evaluation frameworks. These frameworks are based on the Kirkpatrick model and include multiple tests and questionnaires to measure learning outcomes and the impact of training. Our goal is to provide continuous feedback and improvement, ensuring that our training materials meet the highest standards of educational quality.
Collaboration and Partner Contributions
Our project is a collaborative effort involving multiple partners, each bringing their expertise to different aspects of the project. Leading and supporting partners work together to develop learning content, implement VR/AR technologies, and design assessment tools. Regular virtual meetings and continuous communication ensure smooth progress and effective collaboration.
Achievements and Progress
Since the start of the project, we have made significant progress in developing the foundational documents and drafts for our learning modules. These initial steps include defining specific learning aims, preparing detailed module outlines, and creating drafts of e-learning content and exercises. Our comprehensive assessment documents provide a clear strategy for evaluating learning success, ensuring that our objectives are met.
Future Activities
Moving forward, we will continue to refine and develop our learning content, integrate VR/AR technologies, and implement our assessment frameworks. Pilot courses will be conducted to gather feedback and further improve our training materials. We are committed to achieving our project goals and providing high-quality educational resources for metrologists.
