Personal Data Administrator

The administrator of your personal data is the Cracow University of Technology with its registered office in Krakow at 24 Warszawska Street, 31-155 Krakow, represented by the Rector of the Cracow University of Technology.

The administrator can be contacted:

  • by post and in person at the administrator’s headquarters.

Contact in matters related to the processing of personal data

The Administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer (hereinafter: DPO), who can be contacted in matters related to the processing of personal data. Contact with the DPO is possible via:

  • e-mail address of the IOD: iodo@pk.edu.pl,
  • by phone, at: 12 628 31 15,
  • by correspondence to the address of the administrator’s registered office,
  • in person at the Administrator’s headquarters – in this case, we encourage you to contact us in advance by e-mail to arrange a convenient date for the meeting.

Purposes and legal bases of personal data processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

Registration and management of a user account Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR, Article 6(1)(c) – performance of a task carried out in the public interest (implementation of a project financed from EU funds), a legal obligation incumbent on the controller.

Period of personal data processing

We will process personal data for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described above. Depending on the legal basis, this will be in particular:

  • project duration and settlement

After the above-mentioned period, personal data will be archived for the period during which the law requires us to store your data.

Recipients of personal data

The recipients of your personal data are entities providing services such as ICT services (provision or maintenance of IT systems) on the basis of an agreement concluded with the data administrator for the processing of personal data; legal services; advisory services; accountants; postal and courier services, as well as entities and bodies authorized to receive data on the basis of legal provisions.

Rights related to the processing of personal data

In connection with the processing of personal data, you have the following rights:

  • the right of access to the content of the data, the right to rectify the data, the right to erasure of the data – in cases provided for by law, the right to limit the processing of data, the right to object – in the event that the processing of your data is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest, the right to data portability; the right to withdraw consent at any time, whereby the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal

  • if you believe that we process your data in a manner inconsistent with the applicable regulations, you can also exercise the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection – however, before exercising this right, we suggest contacting our DPO in order to clarify any doubts.

Obligation to provide data

Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to achieve the goals.

Data transfer

Your data will not be transferred to third countries and no automated decisions will be made with regard to your data, including no profiling of the data.
